About Radford Manufacturing
Troy Radford founder and CEO of Radford Manufacturing Inc. began his manufacturing career at the age of 16 helping in his dad’s garage machine shop. He also worked as a welder at Alamo Machine in Fort Worth while attending High School. After High School he served in the United States Marine Corps where he graduated top in his class as an Aviation Machinist, learning to work on aircraft of all types including some of the first Jets to enter service in the military. After his career in the Marine Corps, Troy made the decision to return to Fort Worth and Alamo Machine as a machinist. At Alamo he became friends with the General Manager and fellow employee JR Mooney. The two of them left Alamo Machine to start Mooney Engineering, where they designed and built automated machinery for many different industries, going from just the two of them in a garage, to a large facility with over sixty employees.
In 1980 and having already been a part of a successful startup business, Troy now felt it was time to start his own business and Radford Manufacturing Inc. was born.
Since that time and now located in a 12,000 + sq. ft. modern facility, Radford Manufacturing has been in business for over 34 years. Troy and his Team at Radford Manufacturing are dedicated to providing excellent service and products to their customers. Through innovative solutions and a quality focus, Radford Manufacturing can meet the challenge of producing high precision and complex machined parts and assemblies, on-time, and at an affordable price.
Radford Manufacturing has for many years been recognized and received awards for excellence in performance for major long term Manufacturing and Assembly Programs with the Defense Munitions Industry.
